Resetting AA's after tonight's big anticipated patch

Developers said that it will take roughly 3 hours for EQ to come back online after this current patch.  You will need to reset your AA's before accepting the new ones.  Type /resetaa to accomplish that.  After you do that, you can accept the new AA's and then either log off again or zone.  They haven't determined which way they will go.  For those that are maxed on AA's, reset just like everyone else but then use glyphs.  Good luck to everyone!

The patch is over...you can log back on now.  Just watch for the lag spikes.

So this is what you need to do.  Log in to your toon.  Reset your AA's, opt in (located on the AA tab) and then zone twice.  Do not log off your toon until you have re-spent the AA's that you reset otherwise you will lose them.  Hope this helps

In order to maximize the number of AAs, get yourself to level 100 first before resetting and opting in. I am level 88 and had almost 2300 AAs. After resetting and opting in, I bought everything I could (which wasn't much) and still have over 2000 left which I'm not going to be able to spend because they will poof the next time I logoff or zone.

Someone train the guild hall with some mobs so I can level up in there!

As it turns out, you can bank as many as you want. I've zoned and logged tons and got no warnings and no point nerfs.
